Business Administration - Human Resources

Business Administration - Human Resources is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program (laptop required). 

Building on the curriculum of the two-year Business - Human Resources program, students acquire and demonstrate industry standard skills in the core human resources functional areas: recruitment and selection, training and development, human resources planning, occupational health and safety, organizational behaviour, finance and accounting, human resources management, compensation and benefits, and labour relations. 

Students have the opportunity to complete all nine Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) credits.  (Refer to the Human Resources Professionals Association website for more information: www.hrpa.ca.)

Upon completion of the Ontario College Advanced Diploma, students will also have a sound base in analytical skills, professional communication, payroll administration, leadership and dispute resolution. 

Further, infused in the program are a number of experiential learning opportunities (e.g., mentorship, HR Community Consultancy), where students interact with human resources professionals in the field.
