Cook II [Apprenticeship]

Cook II is a two-year apprenticeship program requiring a sponsor/ employer.

Employed students must work under a Red Seal certified cook and attend two days of classes per week.

Students will explore basic cooking methods and enhance their cooking skills through advanced studies in international cooking, baking and garde-manger.

The program prepares the student to write their Red Seal Certificate of Qualification. The inter-provincial Red Seal designation is recognized across Canada.

Graduates will work in all areas of a professional kitchen, line cooks, sous chefs and bakers.
