Fanshawe's General Arts and Science program is designed to help you fill the gaps in your academic history or explore your career options so you can continue your education. Upon graduation, you may be eligible to earn transfer credits to other post-secondary programs.

Planning to move to a college career program, or unsure of your future direction? Enroll as a General Studies Major, where you can take a selection of courses in English, Social Science, Reason and Writing and more.

Need to pick up some pre-requisites so you can head to university? Consider the University Studies Major, where you can take a selection of courses in English, Social Science, Humanities and more.

Want to pursue a career or studies in filmmaking? The Film Studies Major is designed to help you develop analytical and technical skills in the study and making of films.

Planning to move to a college career program in Contemporary Media or Design? The Media and Design Studies* Major will help you to develop your analytical and early technical skills in the study, knowledge of, and beginning practices in Media and/or Design.

Thinking about a post-secondary science-related program? The Science Studies Major offers basic courses in math, biology, chemistry, and physics to prepare you for further science studies.
