Scholarships and awards are merit-based opportunities often involving a cash prize and are available to both domestic and international students (some restrictions apply). Some opportunities require an application while others are selected by Fanshawe staff and faculty.
Criteria often include academic achievement, leadership skills or community involvement. Some scholarships and awards are open to all students, while others may be offered only to students in a specific program. You don’t have to repay a scholarship or award.
Entrance scholarships are designed specifically for first-year students and are often funded by generous donors. These scholarships recognize your achievements and can be program-specific, helping to ease the financial burden as you begin your college experience.

The Dr. Leonard Reeves Entrance Award for Women in Skilled Trades is available to students who self-identify as a woman, enrolling in eligible skilled trade programs.
The WSIB Scholars Program is available to students enrolling in eligible business, IT, or nursing programs with an interest in leadership.
The Canerector Scholars Program is available to students enrolling in eligible skilled trade programs with an interest in leadership.
Schulich Builders Scholarships are awarded to students enrolling in full-time certificate and diploma programs within eligible skilled trade fields at participating Ontario colleges.
