High demand for skills in the MASSIVE insurance industry!

Fanshawe's Business - Insurance program focuses on the property/casualty insurance industry including automobile, property and liability insurance, and fraud awareness and prevention. You'll study forms of general insurance, underwriting, claims investigation, risk analysis and contracts. And you may be able to complete eight of ten credits towards your Chartered Insurance Professionals (CIP) designation offered by the Insurance Institute of Canada.

There's a strong focus on attending industry events and conferences like those offered by the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario and the Independent Adjusters  Association.

Plus, Fanshawe is the only college in Canada to offer membership in Gamma Iota Sigma - an international, professional fraternity for insurance, risk management and actuarial science students.

The Business - Insurance program is a goldmine of opportunity for building a network of contacts in the insurance industry!
