Fanshawe College and the Fanshawe Student Union have reaffirmed their shared commitment to a respectful, supportive and high‑quality learning environment.
On December 4, 2025, FSU President Jerry Thomas and Fanshawe College President Peter Devlin signed the updated Statement of Student Rights and Responsibilities. This annual signing reinforces the social and moral contract between students, the College and the FSU. It applies both on and off campus.
The statement outlines key student rights, including access to a safe, inclusive and equitable learning environment, as well as the responsibilities all students share in upholding community standards and conduct expectations. It also reflects the College and FSU’s ongoing commitment to trust, confidentiality, respect, fairness, dignity, diversity and safety.
