Whether you're attending classes on campus for the first time or returning for another semester, one of the easiest ways to stay informed and prepared is by downloading the Fanshawe Stay Safe app.
Available free to all Fanshawe students and employees, the app provides quick access to campus safety tools, helpful resources and important information that can help keep you connected and protected throughout the year.
Why download the app?
The Fanshawe Stay Safe app puts important information and resources right at your fingertips, including:
- Direct access to Campus Security Services
- Interactive campus maps
- Safe Walk, Friend Walk and Work Alone features
- Crisis support resources
- LTC transit information
- Emergency procedures (what to do in different situations)
- ...and more!
The app can also help you stay connected with friends, emergency contacts and campus-specific supports when studying, working or travelling alone.
Don't miss important campus info
One of the most valuable features of the Fanshawe Stay Safe app is the ability to receive campus-specific information and other important updates. Once you've downloaded the app, take a few moments to ensure your campus preferences are selected.
- Download the Fanshawe Stay Safe app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Register for an account.
- You should be prompted to choose your campus, building, site or location right away. If not, open Settings > Campus Notification Settings > Select the location you would like updates for and save your selection.
That's it. You'll now see information specific to your selected campus, building, site or location.
