Personal Support Worker

Lend a helping hand when it's needed.

Personal Support Workers provide personal care for clients in retirement homes, long-term care facilities, hospitals and in the home.

In Fanshawe's Personal Support Worker program, you'll develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude for assisting others with the tasks of daily living.

In addition to classroom instruction, you'll also complete a community placement, where you'll get valuable experience providing care to clients.

When you graduate, you'll be ready to work with stable clients, with clearly identified needs, helping to make them comfortable and keep them safe.
