Journalism students earn national scholarship for podcast excellence

Congratulations to Fanshawe College Journalism - Multimedia students Ede Brecevic and Jacob Weirmier, who were selected as recipients of the JJ Richards Scholarship through the Radio Television Digital News Foundation of Canada.

The pair jointly received the $2,000 scholarship in recognition of a podcast they submitted to the national competition. The award celebrates emerging talent in broadcast and digital journalism and highlights the creativity, storytelling and technical skills demonstrated by students entering the industry.

Congratulations to Ede and Jacob on this outstanding achievement and national recognition of their work.
