NOTICE: Application of larvicide for mosquito control, June 2026
On Friday, June 19, 2026, Fanshawe College will conduct a larviciding program under the authority of the Medical Officer of Health to control larval mosquitoes in order to prevent their development into vectors of West Nile Virus.
The larvicide MOSQUIRON 0.12 CRD (Briquet, PCP No. 31079) will be applied by direct hand application into catch basins. All larvicides will be applied by Ministry of the Environment licensed applicators.
