The course outline (CO) is a summary of essential course information that allows the student to understand the skills and knowledge required to successfully complete a course. Program and course learning outcomes, evaluation methods, learning activities and resources are clearly outlined following a standardized format as per (Academic Policy 2-B-10). The CO identifies the responsibilities and expectations for the student, professor and the College through mandatory statements, related academic policies and program specific needs. These requirements represent a ‘contractual relationship' between the College and the student that supports the achievement of learning outcomes and academic progression.
