Temporary relocation of bus stops in front of T building for August and September 2025
Beginning on Monday, August 11, the City of London will close the Fanshawe College exit to First St. (at the intersection of Oxford/First) as part of the East London Link construction work. As a result, buses that normally stop in front of T building will use alternate stops during this closure.
London Transit Commission (LTC) has shared a bus route relocation map with detailed route changes, and will also communicate these changes on their website and social media.
Buses will enter the east end of campus from a new bus-only entrance at Oxford Street near lot 10. Buses will then proceed north on Campus Drive (see map for specific bus stops for each route), then turn right on Community Gate and turn right on Fanshawe College Blvd. to exit the campus, proceeding to Oxford Street to resume their routes.
Temporary pedestrian crossing signs are being installed to improve safety near the new stops. Please observe all posted signage and use caution when crossing campus roadways.
This relocation of LTC bus stops from T building to Campus Drive will begin Monday, August 11 and continue until mid September 2025.
This change is not expected to further affect vehicle traffic on Oxford Street beyond current lane restrictions (no detours or additional closures).
