This week, Fanshawe marked the start of Pride Month with the raising of the Progress Pride flag at its campuses.
“This pride flag represents more than just history or struggle,” said Fanshawe student and local drag queen Veronica Royale. “It represents joy. The joy of being seen, the joy of belonging and the joy of finally finding your place.”
At the London Campus, a new Pride-themed sidewalk was unveiled near the flagpoles, offering a permanent symbol of the College’s enduring commitment to 2SLGTQIA+ inclusion throughout the year.
At the regional campuses, a framed Progress Pride flag is on permanent display to reflect the College’s dedication to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment across all locations.
These efforts highlight Fanshawe’s continued commitment to creating spaces where everyone feels seen, valued and supported during Pride Month and beyond.
