I’d love to send my utmost appreciation and gratitude to Professor Laura Chivers-Roberts in the Office Administration Health Services program. When I had a pretty tough semester personally, she always went above and beyond with checking in to see how I was doing both academically and personally. She has always been so incredibly kind and personable. Being an online student, it’s sometimes hard for me to feel like I know and am connected to my professors, but she is able to establish such a strong relationship with her students no matter if they are in person, hybrid, or completely online. Thank you Laura for everything :)

I also want to send a message of appreciation to Professor Heather Beecroft (Office Administration Programs). I worked with her for a course I found to be more challenging, and she was always very responsive and helpful with her answers, even though correspondence was all through email. She reached out and checked in with me numerous times throughout the semester which really made me feel like she was on my side and wanted me to be successful. I appreciated her instructional videos and how she made content based on the topics students were struggling with. I also appreciated the meetings I had with her and how motivating she was, and reassured/more confident she made me feel!

I'm a mature student; and, until I had Rys as a professor, no one had ever taken the time to really help me understand Math. He deserves an award!

You are amazing. You made my experience in HMG 1 easier. And your support helped my classmates and I.

He taught sports and events marketing and he was a great person to learn from. He has great experience that he highlights in lessons, along with funny stories that made his class memorable. He cares about his students and offers great insights that I will take with me long after graduating.

I’m in the Chemical Laboratory Technology program and the amount she went above and beyond for me when I let her know of my mom’s condition, losing her back in February followed by my uncle less than 24 hours later, truly showed how much she cares. She was able to help me with finding resources, and went above and beyond for me.

I'm in the online ECE program headed to getting my diploma in December Kim Woods, Cristin Hildenbrand, and Cori DuHusky have each been AMAZING in the way they present the lessons, explain the projects, and give guidance and help along the way.

Having Professor Julie Erickson for two semesters was honestly one of the best parts of my college journey. She’s not just a professor (DSW) — she’s someone who truly cares about her students and makes learning fun and meaningful. Her classes were so lively and joyful that you just didn’t want to miss them. I always felt 100% present in her lectures because she had this amazing way of making everyone feel connected and excited about the material. Julie is the kind of person you can’t help but love — she’s supportive, approachable, and always there when you need her. She treats everyone equally and fairly, and if you ever had a valid reason for missing a deadline or getting stuck somewhere, she would actually understand and help you through it, instead of making you feel bad about it. That kind of support meant a lot. On top of that, she’s also a nurse, so the real-world knowledge and mentorship she brings into the classroom are incredible. Even though I only had her for two semesters, it feels like I built a bond for life. She’s truly one of a kind, and I’m so grateful I got to be her student

Greg Crunican greg awesome. He is part time teacher for health n wellness 2 but still prob one of the best teacher. Who makes sure each n everyone is happy and enjoying the class. Was always excited for his class. 
Sen-Foong Lim Prof sen- taught us dd2, positive behaviour n psychology. Used to think he was very strict. He is but in a good way. I got U in sec sem in one his course. I went to him and saw him. Talked about my grades and realised he is not what i think. He is so nice, understanding and supportive. Who just want students to grow and understand.

I was in the Human Services Foundation and I would love to share my appreciation for my professor Chantell Carreiro as I had the pleasure of learning from her. Her guidance and support she provided me during the entire year that she taught me assisting me in my school life as well as my personal life and she really truly cared about her students and her mental health. She helped me in my personal life and went out if her way to do things for me from her kind heart. I really appreciate Chantell and she motivated me to do things that I needed to do and my life is so different now and she has contributed to that. Chantell is very ethical and she shows this in her day to day practices and she showed that she was an ally in the first semester and dealt with uncomfortable conversations to speak up for the students. I was in Human Services Foundation and she was one of the most understanding and supportive teachers I have ever met. She is so true to her values within teaching and creating a safe space for her students to thrive in.

I'm nominating Sharon Mackenzie from the Honours Bachelors of Behavioural Science program. She not only runs the program but also two of our classes per semester. She's incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and patient with us. She's very prepared and great with helping us apply our information for those who need more relational learning. I can't say enough how much I've appreciated her this year! Thank you, Sharon!

I am in the Early Childhood Education program, and I appreciate Professor Wendy Andrusak. She was one of my professors in my first term and she not only was a great professor who kept her classes engaging and taught in ways that were supportive of different learning styles, but she was so kind and supportive to all her students. She was always there for me when I needed help or clarification, and encouraged me when I had moments wondering if I belonged in the program due to accessibility and other obstacles I face along the way. Though I am entering my fourth term in September and she has not been my professor for a while, her words and support have stuck with me and are a big part as to why I have remained in the program.

I want to send my heartfelt appreciation to the Addictions and Mental Health Professors: Ursula Goniarski, Patrick Johnston, Michelle Parker, Charity Paolini, Heather Gosney, Kristy Bell, Connie Smith for their unwavering support, they’re super kind, gave everyone an audience and listened to our concerns It was a blessing to cross paths with them.

I’m a student in the Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership Program and these professors really helped me understand the importance of what it’s like being in a Early Years Setting, and they help me and so many other ECL students understand what to do and what not to do in the ECE Sector. Additionally, she helps ECL students prepare for their placements, and I really appreciate her

I am going to start final semester in the Early Childhood Education diploma program, I want to thank Kelly Patterson for being such a caring, supportive, and positive professor no matter how many students she has. She always listens for emergency situations and helped me feel confident during placements. I’m in the early childhood education program, and I’d like to give appreciation to Professor Raluca Wood.. She was an amazing professor I had in my final semester of Early Childhood Education. She made class engaging through conversation and was always there to support any student in the classroom. She ensured that she was clear in anything she said during lectures or in the assignment expectations. What set Professor Reluca Woods apart was her unwavering commitment to supporting her students’ success. Her enthusiasm in the course inspired me to pursue my goals with confidence!

Jonathan, our typography teacher in the graphic design program. He's a great teacher and makes class so enjoyable and interesting. I'm genuinely so disappointed we only had two typography courses cause those classes were my favourite. Mainly cause he made it so fun but also I like the subject.

As a recent grad I really want to shout out my profs I had in the graphic design program for always supporting us students to make sure we are putting our best foot forward. The Massage Therapy teachers all create such an inviting and encouraging atmosphere to learn in. This journey has meant so much to me, and I wouldn’t be here without the support of my incredible professors, Lyona Lunter and Amy Tamminga. Professor Lyona’s passion and energy made me love what I do, and Professor Amy’s kindness and belief in me gave me the confidence to grow. I recently had the amazing opportunity to travel with them and a small group of classmates to Lucerne, Switzerland, where we completed certificates in Swiss Baking & Pastry and Swiss Confectionery. So i am in the course healthcare administration management and the medical spreadsheet application subject is one of my favourite and the professor nelson who taught us. She inspired me in lot of way. She taught with real life example which I liked the most.

From the Woodstock/Oxford Regional Campus was my lab 2 teacher for the RPN program. She's AMAZING!!

I want to appreciate my last term clinical instructor for RPN level2 Julia Lachance ... she is one of the best instructors and helped me a lot during clinicals ... I really want to Thank her for that.

I would like to recognize and sincerely appreciate Kendra Black for the exceptional impact she has had on our learning experience as a clinical instructor. Kendra consistently goes above and beyond in her role, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to student success and professional development.

What truly sets Kendra apart is her thoughtful integration of in-class teachings into our clinical placements. She doesn’t just teach theory—she bridges the gap between the classroom and real-world practice with intention and clarity. Her ability to reinforce academic concepts during placement has been invaluable, helping us apply our knowledge with confidence and deepen our clinical reasoning.

Matt Harris with Dual Credit. I appreciate him for being an amazing support. He never sleeps, he’s always too busy looking to get students up and eager for amazing programs, even outside of London. He is orderly, supportive and super understanding. He deserves to be recognized as well!

Jamie Bechard from the SWAC program. She’s a bright and wonderful face to see on hard mornings, patient and understanding and she only seeks to support/ advocate for her students with all her might. She creates a safe and welcoming community and creates laughter in every room. She doesn’t give herself enough credit.

Dan Kennedy builds community and brings indigenous communities together. He creates a wonderful, spiritual, cultural and social environment where people only seek to help and create connections. He brings people out of their shells and allows amazing conversations and perspectives to fill the room.

Andrea Ross from TVDSB SWAC. She’s been a SWAC teacher for 10 years and it shows! She’s no-nonsense, but kind and supports and advocates for students immensely.
