National AccessAbility Week is a time to recognize the valuable contributions and leadership of persons with disabilities in Canada, celebrate the work of allies and organizations that are removing barriers and highlight ongoing efforts to build a more accessible and disability-inclusive country.

This year's theme, "Building a Strong, Accessible Canada", invites all of us to take action in creating a barrier-free future. By working together, we can help ensure that persons with disabilities can participate fully in all aspects of society.

At Fanshawe College, Counselling and Accessibility Services is committed to supporting students through equitable access to education, accommodations, assistive technology and mental health and wellness resources. By reducing barriers and fostering inclusion, we help ensure that all students have the opportunity to participate fully in campus life and achieve their goals.

As we celebrate National AccessAbility Week, we encourage the Fanshawe community to reflect on how accessibility strengthens our campus and helps create an environment where everyone can learn, contribute and succeed.

Together, we can continue building a stronger, more accessible and inclusive Fanshawe community.
