On October 24, Canadians are encouraged to start wearing poppies in honour of our veterans and serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
In 2021, Fanshawe College launched The Poppy Project where poppies are created out of biodegradable seed paper. After Remembrance Day, they can be placed in soil and, if conditions are right, poppies will bloom in the spring.
Poppy Project poppies will be available in room D1063 (London Campus) starting on October 24.
