The Get SET (Skills, Education and Training) academic upgrading program offered through Fanshawe’s Access Studies has relocated from 431 Richmond Street to the College’s Downtown Campus at 130 Dundas Street.

Get SET, formerly the Literacy and Basic Skills program, is a free adult education program that helps learners build literacy, numeracy, digital and life skills to support their goals in employment, education, apprenticeship or independent living. Through Fanshawe, the program provides opportunities for individuals to quality for college admission or apprenticeships, upgrade skills for employment and strengthen essential foundational skills for everyday life.

“We are excited to be delivering the program at the Downtown Campus where adult learners, many of whom are aspiring to college admission or apprenticeships, can be fully immersed in the college environment,” says Katherine Krakowski, manager of Employment Services and Get SET with the School of Access Studies and Regional Delivery.
