Starting Tuesday, October 14 (weather permitting), after the Thanksgiving holiday, the south portion of the intersection at Oxford and First Street will be closed for approximately four weeks.
First Street will be fully closed at Oxford Street, preventing any north–south travel through the intersection or access to Oxford Street from First Street. Oxford Street will remain open for east–west traffic.
Drivers should follow posted signs and use detour routes to get around the construction.
People driving through the area are advised to travel with caution, allow extra time, and plan ahead using a navigation app such as Waze or Google Maps.
Local traffic and pedestrian access will be maintained for nearby businesses. Businesses can still be accessed from Oxford Street.
