Service has been restored.
Technicians have completed work repairing the cut fiber caused by the motor vehicle accident.

Technicians have implemented an interim fix which has restored service to and from the College network.
Additional interruptions may occur as repairs continue.

Update:
Technicians are currently working on re-routing around the fiber cut in order to restore service.
They expect to have services restored by this evening.

Update:
We have been advised by LARG*net, our Internet Service Provider, that due to a motor vehicle accident close to Western, hydro and fibre infrastructure has been damaged.
There is no estimation on service restoration at this time; and as such College Internet based services are unavailable.

The IT Service Desk has been contacted by our Internet service provider.
They are currently experiencing intermittent issues which is impacting network connectivity to and from the College.
As a result, individuals onsite are currently unable to access external Internet resources and remote individuals are currently unable to access resources on the internal College network.
