A team of students from the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business finished second at the 2025 Scotiabank National Marketing Case Competition.
Fanshawe’s team is comprised of Marketing students: Elise Carlson, Josh Millard, Zack Lariviere and Jaedyn Laanstra. The team was supported by faculty-coaches Stacey Swartz and Liz Gray.
During the three-day event, competitors had three hours to analyze a real-life marketing problem and present solutions to a panel of expert judges.
“The team made us very proud,” said professor Liz Gray. “Their solution to a very complex business-to-business case in the finals was pragmatic, intelligent, well thought out and very articulate.”
Seneca College won gold, while St. Clair College took home the bronze medal.
Twenty-four teams from colleges across Canada competed at Vanier College in Montreal, Quebec, which hosted the competition.
Over the past 20 years, close to 2,000 students from 50 Canadian colleges have participated in the competition. They’ve benefitted from presenting and meeting business leaders, judges, students and coaches from across Canada.
