106.9 The X will be participating in the 22-bell salute for those who tragically lost their lives in Nova Scotia last weekend. There has been a mass messaging/campaign asking churches across Canada to collectively ring their church bells 22 times in memory at 5 p.m. EST (6 p.m. AST) on Friday, April 24.
106.9 The X will be showing their support with a home-produced short tribute by student, Ethan Ralph, that will encourage the listening audience to join the virtual vigil scheduled for 6 p.m. EST (7 p.m. AST) on Facebook and pause for reflection with a moment of silence and 22 bell salute.
