Fanshawe is looking forward to welcoming students back onto campus this fall, with 65 per cent of classes provided in person and residences close to full capacity. Classes are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 7.

The College continues to be in close communication with local public health officials to monitor COVID-19 in our region. Based on current advice from the Middlesex-London Health Unit, Fanshawe will not reintroduce mandatory masking or vaccine requirements at this time.

“Students and employees are encouraged to mask indoors and stay up to date on recommended doses of COVID-19 vaccine,” says Peter Gilbert, chief infrastructure officer at Fanshawe. “We will continue to follow the advice and recommendations from our regional public health authorities, which may include the reintroduction of some COVID protocols during the academic year as they become necessary.”

All scheduled events for students and staff are going ahead as planned this fall, including student orientation and varsity athletics activities. Student services are being provided on campus and virtually.

A vaccination clinic will be set up during orientation on Tuesday, September 6 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the College’s London Campus (1001 Fanshawe College Boulevard). The clinic will be open to all employees and students.
