For the second year in a row, a Fanshawe student has won the Commercial/Creative Photography category at the sixth annual Emerge Media Awards (EMA).
The awards celebrates and highlights the achievements of journalism, photography, videography audio storytelling, graphic design and public relations students in Canada.
Majid Jahanmiri, a second year photography student, won the award with his submission of ‘Harmonic Balconies’. There were 300 submissions from 30 colleges and universities across Canada. Forty-eight industry professionals and post-secondary instructors judged the entries.
