Innovation Village has added another award to its trophy case, receiving an honourable mention at the City of London's 11th annual Urban Design Awards.

Sixteen professional projects were submitted for judging, showcasing creative ideas that reflect how London is growing.

Innovation Village, a vibrant and collaborative space, caters to different ways people learn. It's a campus hub that brings together students, professors and professionals from across the College and broader community in cross-disciplinary collaboration while fostering unique industry partnerships. At the same time, it draws on the incubator space model to reflect the College's academic approach to experiential learning.

Architects, planners, landscape architects, urban designers, engineers, developers, home builders, students, and other design professionals who help shape London's public spaces were invited to submit their work under these categories: Urban Design Plan, Urban Architecture, Urban Fragments, Civic Design Projects, People's Choice and People's Choice Student Project.

The awards take place every two years inspiring urban design professionals to advance excellence in their own projects.
