Fanshawe's Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) advanced diploma program is celebrating a milestone with 100 per cent of recent graduates scoring a passing grade on the national certification exam administered by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
Not only did all grads pass the exam, Fanshawe's results were above the national average in every competency category as well as all of the secondary weightings for the clinical expert competency category.
"This remarkable achievement is a true reflection of the dedication, expertise, and collaboration of our students, faculty, lab educators, clinical preceptors, and industry partners," says Lyndsay Fitzgeorge, associate dean of Fanshawe's School of Health Sciences. "Thank you to the MRT program team for your exceptional work, energy, and mentorship. Your commitment to student success, the MRT program and profession is evident in these outstanding results."
