Thinking about applying to college for a September start? Fanshawe is making it easy with its “Apply in July” event.
It takes place July 28-31, from 4 to 8 p.m., in the Canada Life Village Square at Fanshawe’s London Campus (1001 Fanshawe College Blvd.).
For those who’ve been out of school for a while, and are thinking of going back, or those who are changing or upgrading careers, it can be an overwhelming experience; however, this event will help participants make a smooth transition to college because Fanshawe staff will guide them personally through the application process.
Individuals interested in attending Fanshawe College this fall can:
- Talk to recruiters and pre-admissions advisors about available programs and eligibility.
- Take a campus tour to learn about learning spaces and support services.
- Apply right on the spot, with the usual application fee waived ($150 value). In some cases, offers of admission will be made immediately at the event.
“Attending our event gives people the chance to ask us questions about our programs and apply in-person for free with personal help from staff,” said Fanshawe College Manager of Domestic Recruitment, Anne Hamilton. “We’re able to give them the information they need to make an informed decision and the confidence they’re applying to the program that’s right for them. We want to make it as seamless as possible.”
Participants must register for the event and they should bring their photo identification and high school or post-secondary transcripts with them. In addition to their application fee ($150 value) being waived, they will enjoy free parking, Fanshawe swag and a special gift for applying.
