The Generative AI in the Workplace Lunch & Learn Series is a six-session professional development program designed to introduce staff to the practical use of generative AI tools in day-to-day work. The Art of Prompting
Effective use of generative AI starts with strong prompting. This session focuses on the structure, language, and techniques required to produce high-quality outputs from AI tools. Participants will practice writing and refining prompts through peer-reviewed activities, learning how to iterate and optimize their inputs for more accurate, relevant results across a variety of tasks.
Workplace Applications & Use Cases
This session dives into department-specific use cases, helping participants identify how generative AI can streamline tasks across HR, marketing, sales, administration, and technical roles. Emphasis is placed on ethical use, workplace guidelines, and building a personal use case portfolio.
