Electrical Safety Awareness and Arc Flash
This Electrical Safety Awareness course equips participants with the essential knowledge needed to recognize, assess, and manage electrical hazards in the workplace. It covers the dangers of arc flash and electric shock, emphasizing how to interpret detailed warning labels and select the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for specific tasks. Participants will also learn how to establish an electrically safe work condition, including verifying the absence of voltage on low-voltage systems. The course provides guidance on applying safe work practices and procedures to maintain a secure environment when working around electrical equipment.
Fall Protection/Fall Arrest
Min. 6 participants | 4-hour training
The Fall Arrest Training course equips workers with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely use personal fall protection systems and comply with relevant legislation and workplace safety procedures. This course focuses specifically on fall arrest systems — designed to safely stop a fall — and is ideal for individuals working in construction, maintenance, utilities, or other sectors where exposure to fall hazards exists. Participants will learn how to identify fall risks, correctly use fall arrest equipment such as harnesses and lanyards, and respond effectively in the event of a fall. Training includes both theory and hands-on practice, ensuring participants can confidently use fall arrest systems safely.
Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) Part 1
4-12 participants | 24-hour training | recert required every 3 years | CPO Approved
Part 1 of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) Certification Training equips participants with the foundational knowledge required to fulfill their responsibilities as certified members. This mandatory training, approved by Ontario's MLITSD, provides an understanding of occupational health and safety legislation, the roles and powers of workplace parties, and the internal responsibility system. It emphasizes hazard recognition, assessment, control, and evaluation (RACE), preparing committee members to contribute effectively to a safer work environment.
Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) Part 2
4-12 participants | 16-hour training | recert required every 3 years | CPO Approved
Part 2 of JHSC Certification Training builds on the concepts from Part 1 by applying them to specific workplace hazards relevant to the participants’ industry. Through interactive learning, participants analyze hazard-specific case studies and develop action plans. This training focuses on strengthening hazard control strategies and supporting the committee's role in promoting continuous improvement in occupational health and safety.
Lift Truck Training
4-8 participants | 8-hour training | recert required every 3 years
This comprehensive training program equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to safely operate powered lift trucks (also known as forklifts) in compliance with workplace safety legislation and industry standards. The course includes classroom instruction, hands-on practical training, and a final evaluation to ensure operators are competent in safely maneuvering various types of lift trucks, including counterbalance, reach, and pallet trucks.
The training follows CSA Standard B335-15: Safety Standard for Lift Trucks and applicable provincial regulations (OHSA Ontario).
Lockout/Tag Out
6-18 participants | 4-hour training
This course enables your staff to safely control varying energy forms throughout your workplace. Participants will become familiar with governing legislation around lockout procedures and explore the concepts associated with safe work practices around energy.
Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP)
4-8 participants | 8-hour training | recert required every 3 years
This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) safely and efficiently. It includes both theoretical and practical components to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and manufacturer instructions. MEWPs covered may include scissor lifts, boom lifts, and vertical mast lifts.
Participants will learn about relevant legislation, hazard identification, pre-operational inspection, safe operation practices, fall protection, and emergency procedures. Upon successful completion, learners will receive a certificate of competency, valid for a specified period as per regulatory requirements.
Transportation of Dangerous Goods
Min. 6 participants | 4-hour training
Under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Regulations, anyone who ships, receives, handles or transports dangerous goods requires Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) training. This includes lift truck operators and material handlers who remove dangerous goods from truck trailers. TDG training teaches course attendees the requirements for completing shipping manifests, labelling of transportation units and means of containment, as well as dangerous good segregation. TDG training also provides instruction on what to do in the event of a chemical release. TDG training will teach trainees and their companies how to communicate dangers to emergency responders in the event of a vehicle rollover, train derailment or other environmental release. TDG training will also cover how to ship regulated and non-regulated waste based on the Hazardous Waste Information Network (HWIN).
WHIMS 2015
Min. 6 participants | 2-hour training
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS 2015), aligned with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to hazardous materials in the workplace, understand the legal requirements, and adopt best practices for workplace safety.
The course is designed for all employees, supervisors, and employers who work with or may be exposed to hazardous products in the workplace.
Worker Health and Safety Awareness
Min. 6 participants | 4-hour training
This foundational course introduces workers to the core principles of occupational health and safety (OHS) in Ontario workplaces. It is designed to empower workers with the knowledge and confidence to understand their rights, recognize workplace hazards, and participate in creating a safer work environment.
Through this course, participants will explore the importance of a strong health and safety culture, the legal framework that supports it, and the roles and responsibilities of all parties in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
Working at Heights
4-12 participants | 8-hour training | recert required every 3 years | CPO Approved
The Working at Heights training program is designed to meet the requirements set by Ontario's Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) and is approved by the Chief Prevention Officer (CPO). This comprehensive, full-day course provides participants with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to work safely at heights in the construction sector and other applicable industries. The training focuses on understanding fall hazards, proper use of fall protection equipment, and the legal responsibilities of workers, supervisors, and employers. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a CPO-approved certificate that is valid for three years across Ontario.
