In this workshop, participants will understand how to conduct a needs assessment, collect and analyze data, create learning objectives and apply verbs to various levels of learning.
Planning & Preparation
Participants will explore and understand various adult learning principles, best practices in instructional design, how to prepare content and materials and how to manage the environment and themselves.
Presentation & Facilitation
Participants will explore various preferences for adult learning, how to establish a positive learning environment, the difference between facilitating, training and presenting and various challenges of the profession.
Performance & Evaluation
Participants will understand concepts of evaluation, levels of evaluation, self-assessments and how to get participants to strive for excellence.
