Fanshawe College is a community college providing post-secondary education, skills training and upgrading to more than 43,000 full-time and part-time students in Elgin, Middlesex, Norfolk, Oxford and Huron-Perth counties. The College has an annual operating budget of approximately $270 million with approximately 2,900 employees.

The Board of Governors of Fanshawe College is seeking applications for membership to fill two vacancies on the Board commencing September 1, 2019.

The Board sets the Vision and Mission of the College and develops and monitors policies to ensure Fanshawe College fulfills these important aspirations. The Board governs in constructive partnership with the President in pursuit of the Mission. Members of the Board are volunteers who serve without remuneration for up to two three-year terms of office.

An individual with knowledge and expertise in finance and accounting practice would be an asset. Experience in policy governance, competitive strategies, regulatory environments and disruption and convergence is also welcome.
