Fanshawe College is pleased to offer a pathway for Foreign Trained Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) to be licensed in Canada through the Norton Wolf School of Aviation and Aerospace Technology.
This opportunity is for graduates of international aircraft maintenance basic training programs seeking to leverage their existing skills to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) licence with M1, M2, E or S ratings.
As an Approved Training Organization (ATO) of Transport Canada, Fanshawe College can evaluate unapproved basic training obtained outside of Canada, identify training gaps, and offer applicable Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved courses to bridge identified training gaps. Upgrading courses will range in length from 1 - 4 weeks.
This opportunity is only available to internationally trained individuals. The cost of the initial assessment is $1,250 (+HST). There will be an additional course fee for each of the individual courses required to upgrade.
