Intro to Comic Book Art
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of comic book art and visual storytelling. Designed for aspiring artists with little or no prior experience, the course explores the core techniques used to create engaging comic panels, expressive characters, and dynamic narratives. Over a series of eight guided sessions, participants will learn the basics of character design, panel composition, perspective, inking techniques, and storytelling through sequential art. Students will practice translating ideas into visual form while developing confidence in drawing, creativity, and personal artistic style.
