Canada’s construction industry employes more than 1.4 million people and contributes more than $141 billion to the economy annually. The construction industry is responsible for creating and maintaining the infrastructure for our communities and cannot function without skilled Heavy Equipment Operators (HEOs). Participants taking this course can expect interactive program components (including simulations) which will allow them to explore the roles and responsibilities of an HEO.
Please note: this course does not grant participants HEO certification or licensing. The course is a supplementary offering intended to prepare participants for the next steps in pursuing a career as an HEO.
The course can also help accelerate the next step of a participant’s career if they choose to pursue further training in a specific construction heavy equipment area.
