Hear from our Students

As a student at Fanshawe London South Campus in the healthcare administration program, I extensively used Career Services. My Career Consultant was instrumental in helping me refine my resume, ensuring it highlighted my skills and experiences effectively. The best advice I received was to apply for jobs in person rather than online, a very effective strategy. My consultant was always accessible, accommodating my time preferences, and available by email, making getting the support I needed easy. Finding a job in this market is not easy, but with the correct guidance, one can do it. I want to thank the entire Career Services team for their help.

Fanshawe Career Services has been instrumental in my journey. My Career Consultant supported me from day one, helping me tailor my resume, informing me about job fairs and providing invaluable job search advice and guidance. Thanks to her, I secured my first job in Canada as a Student Ambassador at Fanshawe’s London Campus. She is a professional who understands students' capacities and what they seek, linking them to jobs that truly fit. Her warm smile and positive energy were always encouraging. I'm forever grateful to her and Fanshawe Career Services for their unwavering support.

My experience with Career Services at Fanshawe has been an awesome and nurturing journey. Their virtual events made me feel welcomed even before starting my program. Since my first term, my career consultant has mentored me to create a career plan and navigate career fairs, networking, volunteering, LinkedIn usage, resume building, job applications, and interviews. Furthermore, the Inspire team's Rising Leader micro-credential, Build Your Own Experience, and Larry Myny Mentorship programs provided further clarity on my career plan and expanded my contact network. Moreover, Leap Junction's support was invaluable in co-launching a business, achieving 150% sales growth in four months.
