The following fees are for the 2025/26 academic year. These fees are included in your total tuition & fees cost.

This fee provides recreation programming for all students and includes access and overhead to operate recreation facilities, and coordinated student events.

Wellness Programming Fee

This fee provides wellness programming such as exam preparation support, mental health awareness and support activities, nutrition workshops and events.

Wellness Centre Building Fee

 This fee pays for student union contribution to capital cost of the facility.

Student Centre Building Fee

This fee is used to pay for the cost of the Student Centre. London Campus only.

Student Building Operations Fee

Direct costs of utilities and waste management, maintenance and operating costs to operate the Student Union Buildings.

Student Clubs Fee

This fee allows students to participate and enjoy the benefits of comprehensive club activities on campus. Types of clubs include Cultural, Religious, Diversity and Academic focus.

Student Association Membership Fee

Benefits of membership include eligibility to seek election for director or officer of the student union. FSU executive team guides FSU strategy and initiatives. Specialized service access such as legal aid support, member-based services and activities.

Provides funds to support projects that will improve student life and learning on campus.

This fee provides enhanced technology to support academic programming and learning.

Athletics Fee

This fee supports campus recreation, wellness activities and intramural, recreational and varsity sports programs. London students only.

Wellness Centre Universal Fee

This fee provides access to the Student Wellness Centre facility. London students only.

Campus Safety Fee

This fee supports programs and services that promote on-campus safety services such as campus walk safe programs and sexual violence prevention services.

Career Services Fee

This fee supports career-related services such as career counselling, information sessions, job fairs, job boards, job placement support and LEAP Junction entrepreneurial operations and services.

Health Services Fee

This fee provides enhancements and improvements targeting mental health and support services. London students only.

Student Achievement & Records Fee

Costs associated with services such as transcripts, replacement receipts, verification forms and letters, graduation ceremony and immigration letters, etc.

FANcard Fee

This fee covers the cost of your initial, official Fanshawe identification card and the setup of associated services.  There is a replacement cost for lost or damaged cards.

Benefits of membership include continued networking and access to Alumni benefits and services provided to all of our Alumni.

Additional Fees

The following fees are an additional cost added to your invoice that is not reflected within the total cost of the program. 

Health and Dental Insurance 

The student health and dental plan offers coverage for medical, dental, and mental health services not included in provincial health care. While enrollment in the plan is mandatory, students may be eligible to opt out if they have comparable coverage. Please note that health insurance fees are *not* included in the estimated program cost listed on the program page.

Domestic fee

Health Insurance is billed on an annual basis and is a mandatory fee. Students starting in Fall will be invoiced $248.85 for the full year of coverage (September to August). Students starting in the Winter will be invoiced $197.03 for coverage (January to August). Students starting in the Summer term will be charged $124.91 for coverage (May to August).

International Fee

Health Insurance is billed on an annual basis and is a mandatory fee. Students starting in Fall will be invoiced $1,038.19 for the full year of coverage (September to August). Students starting in the Winter will be invoiced $965.48 for coverage (January to August). Students starting in the Summer term will be charged $790.74 for coverage (May to August).

 

Bus Pass

The student bus pass provides unlimited access to public transit in London during your academic year. This is a mandatory fee for students studying in London and is billed annually based on your start term. Like the health and dental plan, the bus pass fee is not included in the estimated program cost listed on the program page.

Students starting in Fall will be invoiced $297.27 for the full year of coverage (September to August). Students starting in the Winter will be invoiced $198.18 for coverage (January to August). Students starting in the Summer term will be charged $99.09 for coverage (May to August).

General Expenses

General expenses are optional costs that may be required depending on your program. These can include items like textbooks, equipment, supplies, exam fees, and field trips. If applicable, general expense fees are listed within the tuition summary section on each program page to help you plan for the total cost of your education.
