Acrylic Painting Intro

This beginner-friendly course introduces participants to the fundamentals of acrylic painting in a relaxed, supportive environment. Designed for those with little or no prior experience, the course focuses on building confidence while exploring creativity through hands-on practice and guided instruction. Participants will learn essential techniques such as color mixing, brush handling, composition, layering, and creating texture using acrylic paints. Through step-by-step demonstrations and individual experimentation, students will explore a variety of subjects and styles while developing their own artistic voice. The course emphasizes process over perfection, encouraging creativity, exploration, and personal expression rather than formal evaluation. No grades or prior art experience are required - just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
