Concurrent Disorders

This course will explore the connections between mental health and substance use disorders. Students will be introduced to risk factors and symptoms associated with concurrent disorders, and will consider a range of recovery strategies applicable to diverse populations. Through key assessment elements, risk factor analysis, and self-care techniques, students will develop sound approaches to address concurrent disorders within a professional setting.
