Fundamental Mathematics

This course is designed to provide students with the skills, terminology and the understanding of concepts in basic arithmetic and the metric system and to encourage good study habits and the ability to work independently. This basic course covers addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions and decimals. In addition, the student will learn to solve practical problems involving percents, perimeters, areas, volumes, and metric.
