Research in Nursing (IEN)
In this course, you will examine concepts related to evidence informed practice. You will explore scientific inquiry within nursing praxis, relevance and use of various research paradigms, and methodologies and ethics in practice and human research scenarios. You will engage in critical appraisal of research evidence and apply principles and concepts of knowledge translation and effective knowledge transfer at individual and systems levels. Note: This fully online course is offered through OntarioLearn and is part of the Nursing Program Transformation Initiative. Only those who have a competency letter from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and have also met the English language requirements as set out by the College of Nurses are eligible.
