Services

CCES Employment Consultants can help you assess your level of need for individualized assistance and support and help customize a plan to assist you in achieving your goals.

The following services are available to anyone, including people currently working, those who are under-employed, people looking for work, students, apprentices, internationally trained individuals and employers.

• advice and referrals to other community services and support

Academic Upgrading

At Fanshawe, we recognize the hardest aspect of returning to school is taking the first step. We offer a range of free upgrading programs and services to assist individuals work towards their goals.

Job search assistance

We will provide you with structured and individualized support for conducting an effective and organized job search.

Job matching and placement support

Eligible participants will receive supported access to local employment opportunities; i.e. cold-calling, access to the hidden job market, subsidized placement into employment and on-going support and assistance during employment.

Canada-Ontario Job Grant

The Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG) is a program that provides financial support to employers in Ontario to help them invest in their workforce by offsetting the cost of training their employees. 

Better Jobs Ontario 

Better Jobs Ontario is an Ontario government program designed to help people who have been laid off and are currently unemployed or underemployed and working less than 20 hours a week.
