Congratulations Falcons, you’ve made it to the mid-term point of the fall term!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, on Monday, October 9, 2023. Before Thanksgiving on October 5 and 6, 2023, Fanshawe will not run courses for our fall Study Break.

  • On Thursday, October 5 and Friday, October 6, Fanshawe will be open, with no classes running
  • On Monday, October 9, Fanshawe is closed for Thanksgiving (what is Thanksgiving?)

What can you do during the fall reading week?

Enjoy some downtime:

  • catch up on some sleep;
  • enjoy some good meals (maybe pre-make some meals too for the rest of the term);
  • spend time with family, friends and loved ones;
  • spend some time looking after you; head to the gym, spa, or somewhere that helps you unwind and recharge.

Explore London

You’ve been so busy with school, you probably haven’t had a chance to explore and enjoy London yet. Check out our recent blog, Things to do in London this Fall to learn about music and performing arts, festivals and events, museums, and sports to watch and play.

Catch up, keep up or get ahead with your school work:

  • Catch up on readings you may have missed;
  • Prepare study notes for any upcoming tests or your exams;
  • Start working on projects and essays that are due later in the term;
  • Find academic support from the Learning Centre if your grades aren’t quite where you want them to be;
  • Chat with your Academic Advisor.
