Learn through an apprenticeship and become an agriculture leader - 2019/2020

Looking for the edge when it comes to finding a satisfying, in-demand career? Interested in joining a profession where you get your hands dirty and solve problems? By joining the John Deere technical team you’ll be given the training to choose the career that best suits your skills.

From the garage to the front desk, from management to consultation, the Agricultural Equipment Technician – John Deere Tech [Apprenticeship] program will provide the training necessary to help you choose the best career option while providing employment access to an industry leader.

You’ll have the edge over the traditional farm equipment apprenticeship grads because you’ll have completed an additional four-months of training on the latest, cutting-edge John Deere technology. As well, you’ll be paid to work at a John Deere dealership where you’ll be able to try a number of behind the scenes jobs, as well as front-end work to help you determine your best future.

When you graduate, you'll be up to speed on the latest technology advancements in agricultural equipment. Plus, you'll graduate with a joint John Deere/Fanshawe College Certificate of Achievement, and be ready to enter an industry where there's a shortage of skills. You’ll be in high-demand.
