Decontamination, Principles, Procedures

Students are introduced to the principles of decontamination including instrument/equipment disassembly, various methods of cleaning/disinfection, use of decontamination equipment (automated), proper workflow, standard precautions and the safe handling of sharps and medical bio-hazardous waste material.
