New Years Even in London Ontario

It’s not just the beginning of a new year, it’s the start of a new decade. What do the 2020’s have in store? We can’t help with that, but we can suggest a few ways to kick it off. Don’t wait till the last minute to make your New Year's Eve plan. Here’s a list of what’s happening in London for NYE!

Bundle up and head to Victoria Park

Enjoy free transit, hot chocolate, skating, and live music performances at Start.ca New Year’s Eve in the Park. Head to the beautiful downtown park and see a fireworks display at the stroke of midnight. If you want to get the kids (or yourself) to bed in good time, the early fireworks display is at 9:00 p.m.

Party like it’s 1999

The No Scrubs Millennium dance party at Call the Office will have you busting a move to Britney Spears and *N SYNC before the clock strikes midnight. There will be free glowsticks, complimentary bubbly and door prizes.

Celebrate early and go to bed

If you have kids, the Children’s Museum is throwing a countdown that will have you home before the sun sets. Kids will have activities from around the world and a dance party with a DJ!

Dress up and do something fancy

Ring in the new year at The Mockingbird - Speakeasy and Cocktail Lounge. Ticket includes an amazing, night-long grazing table full of delicious food, count down champagne, party favours, and entertainment.

Looking for something extra fancy? Join us at Grace Restaurant for a night of 1920s inspired opulence to ring in the New Year! Included in your ticket is admission to an after-party, a drag show, access to a raw seafood and charcuterie spread, two drink tickets to use on feature cocktails.

Get your game on

If your ideal New Year's Eve includes video games, ping pong or virtual reality, check out The Rec Room's New Year's Eve Bash. Doors open at 9:00 p.m. and your $30 ticket gets you unlimited games, live entertainment and a midnight prosecco toast.

Have a happy new decade!
