What to do for New Years Eve in London 2025

Whether you want to celebrate everything that happened this year or celebrate the fact that it's over, there are many traditions and events you can enjoy in London, Ontario as the clock ticks past midnight. Don't wait till the last minute to make your New Year's Eve plan. Here's a list of what's happening in London for NYE!

Bundle up and head to Victoria Park

Vistoria Park's New Year's Eve in the Park remains London's biggest free celebration! Enjoy free transit, outdoor skating, and live music performances at New Year's Eve in the Park. Head to the beautiful downtown park and see a fireworks display at the stroke of midnight. If you want to get the kids (or yourself) to bed in good time, the early fireworks display is at 9:00 p.m.

Celebrate early and go to bed

The Factory is hosting the NYE Balloon Drop, with activities for the whole family. You'll have the option of enjoying the balloon drop from the viewing deck, the trampolines (for those six and up) or the bubble event (for those under six). This year, there are two balloon drops, with the first countdown ending at 7 p.m. for Lil' Climbers and the second ending at 8 p.m. in the Hero Room. The best part? The festivities end early, so everyone can get a full night's rest.

Go dancing and get some grub

The Palasad Social Bowl is hosting New Year's Eve with BETAMAXX. Your $35 pre-sale ticket includes a $10 arcade card, a champagne toast, favours and a midnight buffet. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for this all-ages party, and the band starts at 9:15 p.m.!

Hit the Ice for NYE

If you're ready to start the party early (or not willing to stay up too late), head downtown to Canada Life Place and cheer on the London Knights as they face off against the Sarnia Sting. The puck drops at 4 p.m. and the doors open one hour prior, so you'll have plenty of time after the game to party or to get home for a cozy countdown in bed.
