The Health Occupations Aptitude Exam (HOAE) is a computer based pre-admission test for all applicants to the Respiratory Therapy program (RST4) at Fanshawe College. Applicants to the Respiratory Therapy Program must complete the HOAE as part of the application process.
Your score on the HOAE will be combined with your academic accomplishments to determine an overall score that is used for admissions.
You can only write the HOAE exam once per application cycle. If you have written the exam for a program which has a 2019 intake, you are responsible for notifying the Admissions Team at firstname.lastname@example.org that you wish to use the 2019 test results.
Important deadline - September 2020 intake:
Applications for the September 2020 intake of the Respiratory Therapy Program must be completed on or before February 1, 2020 through ontariocolleges.ca. We strongly encourage you to write the HOAE exam before this date also.
