Poetry writing provides skills necessary for the creation, development, and marketing of publishable poems.

This course explores the art and craft of writing for the growing romance fiction market. Through lectures, examples, and lots of research, students will develop their skills in creating engrossing plots and settings, and engaging characters, as well as researching the growing and changing market for romance oriented fiction.

This online course will focus on communication with the terminally ill patient and their families. Topics include: basic process and steps of effective communication, factors influencing personal and cultural attitudes in communication, identifying basic verbal and non-verbal communication, techniques used to establish a trusting relationship and how to identify ineffective communication.

This course introduces managerial accounting concepts and terminology including the elements of a job costing system, the application of cost-volume-profit analysis, and the application of job order costing, process costing, and activity-based costing.
