The Social Service Worker (Fast Track) is a 10-month Ontario College Diploma program for graduate students to start serving the community. You will build on your knowledge of human behaviour, social problems, and gain proven techniques to prepare you for social service work. Graduates will be prepared to work in community development, crisis intervention, and anti-violence, corrections, addictions and education settings.

The Tool and Die Maker (430A) apprenticeship program consists of on-the-job and in-school training. You'll learn to design, create, repair and test prototypes and production tools such as dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges and specialty tools using various metals, alloys and plastics.

Truck and Coach Technician (310T) is a block release apprenticeship program where students learn to troubleshoot and repair engines, power trains, ignition and electrical systems, and more. This program combines in-class learning with on-the-job training through an apprenticeship component. Graduates will gain the necessary skills to work on fleet maintenance, public transit systems or small repair operations.

The Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic apprenticeship prepares apprentices to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair residential air conditioning systems. Through a combination of paid, on-the-job training and in-school technical training, students develop the mechanical, electrical and problem-solving skills needed to work safely and effectively in the HVAC industry.

The Agricultural Equipment Technician - John Deere Ag Tech apprenticeship program teaches students specialized skills needed to solve complex problems with John Deere equipment. Students will learn to diagnose, maintain and repair John Deere agricultural equipment, and will finish with an additional 4 months of training on the latest John Deere technology.

The food innovation field is dynamic and growing with a high demand for qualified individuals who are both creative and knowledgeable. Fanshawe’s Food Processing - Product Development program is a one-year graduate certificate that provides students with the skills to work alongside food scientists taking innovative food ideas to the testing labs and onto the market.

The Truck and Coach Technician Apprenticeship day release program combines in-class learning and on-the-job training. Students will learn to troubleshoot and repair fleet vehicles. Students will be able to apply the skills they learn in the classroom and work with experienced workers within the workplace. Graduates will feel confident working in fleet maintenance for construction companies, public transit systems or small repair operations.

Auto Body and Collision Damage Repairer combines in-class learning with an apprenticeship component. Students will learn to restore, repair, and replace auto body parts and interior finishings. Graduates of the program will feel confident in assessing damage and estimating the cost of the repairs.

Aviation Technician - Aircraft Maintenance (Co-op) is a two-year Ontario college diploma program. Students will learn about the aspects of aircraft systems used in general aviation, corporate, transport category aircraft, and helicopters. Graduates will be prepared for a career within domestic or international aircraft maintenance and aviation manufacturing organizations.

Auto Body Repair Techniques is a one-year Ontario college certificate that prepares students to enter the auto body field. Students within this program will learn practical skills used by entry level auto body repairers: welding, refinishing, metalworking and body repair. Graduating students will feel confident to assess vehicle damage, develop repair estimates using proper etiquette, and work with common industry software.
