Fanshawe’s Library Learning Commons (LLC) has digitized to meet the changing needs of the College community.

In the last two years, we have transitioned many of our books, journals and videos to online and acquired new databases to serve students and faculty better and across all campuses.

We have added resources including CSA on Demand, IBISWorld and RX Vigilance. Our most popular database is Academic Search Ultimate with over 96,000 visits a year and we now have over 260,000 eBooks available for research and fun with 20 steaming platforms that are entirely free for staff and students.

Students are asking more questions online than ever via askON, the LLC’s live chat virtual reference service, which runs from 6 a.m. to midnight Monday to Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The amazing staff will answer your questions live and show you how to navigate digital resources to help complete research assignments successfully. Online Math, Science, English, ESL and study skills support are also available for students.
