Honours Bachelor of Applied Technology - Biotechnology

Honours Bachelor of Applied Technology is a four-year degree program with a mandatory co-op component. Students will develop skills in experimental design, statistical data analysis, bioinformatics and handling microbial, plant, and animal material for genetic analysis. Graduates of this program will feel confident entering the workforce after completing a four-month co-op program to develop the necessary interpersonal and communication skills.

Biotechnology (Co-op)

The two-year (four-semester) Biotechnology diploma program will focus on cell biology, chemistry, physics, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, genomics, proteomics, biochemistry, and bioinformatics. Students will have the opportunity to learn in and experience Fanshawe’s leading-edge Centre for Applied Research in Biotechnology (CARIB) facility and the program also incorporates paid co-operative work experience to help create a graduate who’s in demand.

Business - Supply Chain and Operations

This two-year diploma in supply chain and operations will ensure you are prepared to join private or public sectors in this demanding field. Our supply chain courses will cover business theories and allow you to put them into practice. You will also examine goods and services sourcing, transportation methods, inventory techniques, retail management, analytical techniques as well as develop your negotiation skills.

This two-year operations and supply chain co-op diploma program will ensure you are prepared to join private or public sectors in this demanding field. Our supply chain co-op program will cover business theories and allow you to put them into practice. A paid co-op work term will provide you with valuable work experience for your resume. Graduate with a two-year Fanshawe College diploma and additional certification from our partner school, the Richemont Centre of Excellence.

Journalism - Broadcast

Fanshawe’s award-winning Journalism-Multimedia program prepares you to be a creative and compelling multiplatform storyteller. What you learn in the classroom is put into practice in the newsroom at 106.9 The X. You’ll work as a multimedia reporter, newscaster, podcaster, broadcaster and digital content creator. If you’re interested in making a difference as a journalist, this two-year diploma program is for you!

Broadcasting - Television and Film Production

Video content creators are the backbone of the media and entertainment industry. With multiple delivery platforms and high-tech tools available, the need for skilled and talented producers is higher than ever! Fanshawe’s Broadcasting – Television and Film Production program puts you behind the scenes of television and film production with hands-on training in the largest TV and film studio outside of Toronto. Graduate ready for a career in public and private broadcasting, audio/video production studios and production departments.

Building Renovation Technology

Building Renovation Technology is a three-year advanced diploma program with a co-operative education component. Students will learn to plan, implement, and lead building and renovation projects. Graduates of this program will be equipped with proven skills through two co-op education work terms.
