The Human Resources Management program is a one-year post-grad program designed for university and college graduates looking to specialize their skills in human resources. This program provides you with functional knowledge in core areas of human resources: recruitment and selection, training and development, human resources planning, occupational health and safety, organizational behaviour, finance and accounting, principles in human resources management, compensation and benefits, and labour relations.

Build on your diploma in human resources with this human resources advanced diploma program. You’ll acquire and demonstrate industry-standard skills and dive deeper into core HR functional areas: recruitment and selection, training and development, human resources planning, occupational health and safety, HR management, compensation and benefits and labour relations. You’ll also have the opportunity to apply to further develop your consulting skills with the option of substituting two courses for the intensive community consultancy program, working with live clients to solve real problems.

The business human resources diploma program is about finding value in people. You’ll learn business basics first - accounting, marketing and computer applications. You'll study labour relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment and training. In your last semester, in-class students will be mentored by people in the industry, in real HR departments. Fanshawe’s four-year Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources Management) degree program will provide you knowledge of business basics such as accounting, marketing and computer applications. As well, you’ll specialize and focus your skills in human resources management courses, including performance management, human resources planning, talent acquisition, employee and labour relations and compensation and benefits administration.

The Social Service Worker program is a two-year Ontario College Diploma. Students will learn human behaviour and psychology, individual and social problems, and proven social techniques. Graduates will enter this competitive field with the necessary practical skills and hands-on experience to begin a career within private or public social agencies and programs.

This one-year full-time program is designed to prepare graduates for a supervisory career in the food-processing industry.

The Social Service Worker (Fast Track) is a 10-month Ontario College Diploma program for graduate students to start serving the community.
